About Sporting Talk

Sporting Talk is an agency that specialises in sports interpreting and translation. We provide our services for sports events, clubs, organisations, governing bodies, publications, etc. The list is by no means exhaustive. If it has anything to do with sport then we can do it.

We are based in Halifax in West Yorkshire and provide interpreters and translators to all parts of the UK as well as abroad.

Sporting Talk was established by Susan Partridge. Susan has an MA in Interpreting and Translation and has competed for Great Britain and Northern Ireland in international athletic competitions. Susan believes that, just as you wouldn’t want a musician to translate an engineering document, you wouldn’t want an interpreter who hasn’t even picked up a tennis racket to interpret at a tennis tournament.

For this reason, we specialise in providing clients with qualified interpreters and translators who have strong sporting backgrounds. Read more
